Rail: Cologne is well served by rail links from all over Germany and from neighbouring countries

From the main train station (Köln Hauptbahnhof) it is a 10-15 minute walk to Examinations International:
Take the exit marked ‘Breslauer Platz’
Turn left and continue to the traffic lights at the end of the road
Turn right into Eigelstein and continue through the Eigelstein Gate and down the steps ahead
In the underground passage take the first flight of steps on your left
At the top of the steps is a Sparkasse. Sudermanstrasse is to the right of the Sparkasse.
Walk along Sudermanstrasse and turn left into the courtyard immediately after the newsagent’s.

Wet weather alternative: Take the U-Bahn
In the station follow signs for ‘Dom Reisezentrum’
The underground, marked ‘U’, is just before the exit on the left hand side
Take any train in the direction ‘Ebertplatz’ and leave the train at Ebertplatz station (1 stop)
Walk back along the platform in the direction you have travelled and up the stairs
Turn right and walk outside across the open space in front of you
At the sign post take the stairs in the direction ‘Hansaring Sudermanstrasse’
Follow the last 2 points above.

From the station Köln-Deutz take any train to the Hauptbahnhof (1 stop/2 minutes) and proceed as above.
